The ceramic block antenna module (also known as ceramic antenna module | dielectric antenna module or satellite positioning antenna module) is a component or subsystem with specific functions that combines a ceramic block antenna with a feed network, matching circuits, and in some cases, integrates the transmitting and receiving front-end components. Its core function is to enable electronic devices to efficiently transmit and receive radio wave signals. Vehicle antennas can be designed to operate in single or multiple frequencies, and the products can cover all frequency bands of the GPS/GLONASS/BDS/GALILEO systems.
The ceramic block antenna module sacrifices a certain degree of bandwidth and incurs a small increase in cost in exchange for valuable internal space and stable RF performance. It has the advantages of small size, high gain, good directionality, high precision, low noise, stable performance, good consistency, high integration, convenient design, strong anti-interference ability, and adaptability to complex environments. However, it also has the disadvantages of narrow bandwidth, long customization cycle, relatively high sample production cost, and sensitivity to design and layout.
