一、Characteristics
Surface acoustic wave resonator (SAWF or SAW resonator for short) is an energy-exchange passive bandpass filter made of special materials and the physical characteristics of piezoelectric effect and surface wave propagation of piezoelectric crystal oscillator materials. The surface acoustic wave resonator plays a good role in suppressing the high order harmonics, image information, transmission leakage signal and various parasitic clutter interference of electronic information equipment. The surface acoustic wave resonator can realize the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics filtering with any desired accuracy, which is difficult to complete with other filters.
The main features of the surface acoustic wave resonator are large design flexibility, compatible with analog circuits and digital circuits, small group delay time, small deviation, good frequency selectivity (optional frequency range of 10MHz ~ 3GHz), small input and output impedance error, small transmission loss, good anti-electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance, high reliability, small size, light weight, easy installation, and price Cheap, can achieve a variety of complex functions. The biggest drawback of the surface acoustic wave resonator is that the bandwidth is too narrow (tens of KHZ), resulting in extremely slow download speeds.

三、Application & attention
Surface acoustic wave resonators are widely used in various wireless communication systems, television sets, wireless transmitters and other RF circuits. When used, the welding temperature should not be too high, and the time should not be too long. If reflow welding is used, the reference temperature provided by the manufacturer is recommended, and wave crest welding is not recommended. Products should be stored in the ambient temperature of -10℃~40℃, relative humidity is not more than 80%, the surrounding environment is not acidic, alkaline and other harmful gases in the warehouse. Do not soak when cleaning, it is recommended to wipe with alcohol.
